Opened to public in 2010 Skapo Apartments is an acommodation sight located in the UNESCO-protected Vilnius Old Town. In this historically rich place there used to be a mansion of Lithuanian Grank Duke' treasurer Stanislaus Skapas. The present apartment house is dating back to 1795 which is now accepted to the National Heritage Register of Lithuania and saved by Government as a monument of Classicism architectural style.
We as Skapo Apartments owners have a strong will and mission to preserve heritage and transfer it to future generations unchanged. And of course we are proud to offer accommodation for our Guests in this historicaly rich and special place!
There is nothing like in a polished hotel here - some narrow wooden corridor entrances are shared with other guests or locals living here, aprox. 1 meter thick walls, old antic doors, fireplaces, big silent courtyards - everything here like it was hundreds years ago and.. Unchanged.. Unpolished, like a raw diamond!
